Update from Gabby's Family:
Just wanted to give you an update on
Gabby. She is doing great and has made
herself at home, especially on the couch.
She has started nudging with her nose if
you don't pet her the minute she walks in
the door. She has also learned where the
milk bones are and will help herself. She
still loves to counter surf, but has learned
that the stove is not the best place to put
her nose. Have a wonderful and
safe Holiday.

"Coco"
Coco was rescued from Louisiana where
she was used by a breeder to mass

A Good Samaritan brought her from Louisiana
to Texas and turned her over to LRRNT.
She now has a loving family and a beautiful

"Raven"
Raven has been adopted by a young
couple in Rowlett.  Raven has 3 four
legged siblings.  Raven in the smallest
and youngest of the pack, but her big
brother Bubba is very protective of her
and follows her everywhere. Raven is
a typical puppy who loves to get into
trouble but who has quickly found out
that being cute and sitting down with an
innocent look on your face normally gets
you off the hook and out of trouble.
Raven's new mom and dad say that
the love she brings with her more than
makes up for the little mischief that
she gets into.

"Summer"
Summer is adopted!

Report from Summer's new family:
Summer is doing great still. She is so
spoiled. She gets along so well with
everyone and my neighbor came over and
just loves yellow labs so she loves her too.
I have attached a few photos of Summer
and Jessica, I'll send more of her and the
rest of the family later. I just love the
photo of Jess hugging Summer from behind.
They look so good together. Summer has
been coming with me to school to pick up
the kids. When I come back to the car I
always find her sitting in the drivers seat
looking out the window. The kids think
that is really funny.
"Skye"
Skye found her way into the hearts
of a lady and her daughter living in
Grapevine. The remarkable part of this
success story is that the daughter is
named Skye. Now the three “ladies” can
all bask in the love they have to share
and hopefully enjoy many wonderful
years together.

Report from Molli
a.k.a. Skye's new family:

Molli is a wonderful, loving, and
obedient dog who's warmed our hearts
and made our home whole again. She is
more than we could have ever imagined
a rescue to be!  Thank you to all of you
at North Texas Lab Rescue for making
this match possible!
"Lacey II"
Lacey was adopted by a young couple
from Highland Village where she will be
sharing the spotlight with a smaller dog.

so she went to her new home micro-chipped
and her new owners are prepared to keep
a watchful eye on her whenever she
is in the yard.

"Angel"
Note from Belle's (a.k.a. Angel)
new family:

I thought you might want to know that
Belle is doing great.  I just can not imagine
my life without her.  We get up every
morning and a take a walk through the
neighborhood.  I will tell you that her name
really suits her because she is quickly
becoming the "Belle" of the ball in our
neighborhood.  We have met so many great
new neighbors and their friendly furry
friends!  You would never know that Roxy
and Belle are not related.  We try and get
the girls together at least once a week.
They cry every time they have to leave
each other.  I have some adorable pictures
of them.   We went to the lake house this
weekend and Belle jumped out of the car
and straight into the lake.  Yes this is a
dog that acts like she can't jump off the
bed by herself and she was jumping off
3 foot high embankments to get in the
water.  At one point we thought she was
going to try and swim across the lake!
I truly know why they call labs water dogs!
"Emma"
Emma has been adopted! This very
sweet girl fit right in with her foster
family's dogs and was an instant hit
with two sets of children and
grandchildren. When people expressed
an interest in adopting Emma instant
gloom settled over everyone. It didn't
take long for the family to decide that
Emma should simply stay where she
was. Emma has found her forever
home and everyone is happy again!
"Jess"
Jess was adopted on July 12th and will
be spending her first birthday in her new
forever home. Jess is now living with a
retired couple who have children and
grandchildren who visit with their dogs so
Jess is loving all of the loving attention
that she is getting and is tickled pink that
she has so many dog friends to
play chase with.
"Lucy"
As Lucy eagerly ran up to the house
for her first day with her new family
she was greeted with smiles, hugs, love
and a large basket of goodies. All kinds
of doggie toys and treats, including a
new red chili pepper collar that fit just
perfectly were waiting to welcome her.
Lucy seems to have already bonded with
her family especially the young boy who
spent hours of research on the internet
searching for what he through would be
the perfect dog. It is clear that Lucy will
now spend the rest of her days in a
“forever home” where she will be deeply
loved. We are confident that Lucy will
return all the love and will prove to
be a perfect canine companion.
"Ci Ci"
Ci Ci has been adopted!
"Andy"

with them.
"Cabo aka Phoebe"
Cabo has been adopted!
Cabo, now known as Phoebe, has found
her Forever Home in Fort Worth and
has quickly become the apple of her
new owner's eye. She arrived to find her
photo already residing on the mantle,
a brand-new crate for "down-time", and
a shopping bag filled with all "necessities
for the well-heeled Lab." She was
welcomed by a new Sheltie brother,
Dillon, and the resident feline, Toby
Grey. Phoebe is cheerful, easygoing,
loves to go for her daily walks, and has
a passion for chasing squirrels. Her
Forever Mom works from home, so she
enjoys the (air-conditioned)
Good Life 24/7.
"Happy"
"Kelly"
Kelly has been adopted!
Happy is now living with a family that
adores him completely. The young boy
of the family saw Happy on our website
and fell in love with him immediately.
He printed his picture and kept it on a
bulletin board in his room in eager
anticipation of having Happy join his
family. Happy now shares his new family
with a cat names Senor and they have both
fully accepted each other as friends. Happy
went on his first trip to Houston recently
and his human grandparents also fell in
love with him. Happy has endeared himself
to his immediate family and everyone else
who comes into contact with him.
This is a truly happy outcome
for a wonderful dog.
"Toby"
Toby has been adopted!!!
Toby has been adopted by a couple in
North Dallas and he will be sharing a
home with a 150 pound St. Bernard who
is his same age and with a very sweet fourteen year old yellow Lab.

Note from Toby's new family: We went to
the lake from Thursday through Sunday and
Toby had a blast. We kept him on the leash
at first and walked him all around.
By the end of the weekend, he and
Yogi were running around together and
having a ball.  They swam, we took walks,
and he chased a couple of squirrels.
He is a great dog and I think
he is real comfortable with us.
"Bonnie"
Bonnie has been adopted!!!
Bonnie is now Cocoa and starting a
new life with a new name with a
wonderful, loving couple in Plano.
In the past month Bonnie has gained
12 pounds and is now a beautiful,
healthy and energetic dog. When last
seen she was stretched out
having her belly rubbed.
"Jake"
Jake has been adopted!!!
Jake graduated from a two week session
at K-9 University on June 21st where he
had an obvious crush on his instructor,
Andra Evans! The progress he made was
awesome to all of us who knew him before
his training began. He was adopted by a
fantastic lady from Grapevine on his
graduation day. Jake's story is testimony
to the difference obedience training can
make in the life of a dog and in the lives
of the people around him.
Note from Jake's new family:
I can't thank all of you enough for all of
the help and support with adopting Jake.
He is doing wonderful and is very happy
in his new home. We are continuing the
obedience classes with Andra...Jake
teaches me more than I teach him!! Jake
went to the vet last week and has all of
the girls there wrapped around his paw
already! My co-workers are throwing me a
doggie shower at the end of the month
where Jake will be the guest of honor.

This has been a truly rewarding experience. Your organization is top notch!!
"Duchess"
Duchess has been adopted!!!
